I completely agree! a website with an online store and a menu used to be a competitive advantage but it has now turned into a requirement. I don't think I would go to a dispensary that does not have a website since I might perceive such business as illegitimate.
Talking about tech, some producers have started to do POS implementation to better match demand and supply by generating forecasts with date directly from the point of sale terminal and allowing the growers or packaging companies to increase or decrease production accordingly! Which means less inventory sitting around, potentially lower prices and for sure fresher cannabis plants in the market!!
This is an industry with tons of kids that grew up with technology and pioneers willing to explore new markets so I believe this market has a great ability to be flexible and adapts quicker than most industries!!!
You mentioned supply chain and I actually read and article about cannabis companies and the losses they are taking as a result of poor supply chain planning and crazy amounts of waste and inefficiencies. Should have a talk with them!! I want to buy some stocks but the above mentioned reason is just one of many as to why I haven't invested in marijuana stocks.

@Decarbaked So convenient. They are making it as easy as ordering a pizza! They don't take long and most delivery services at least in Ventura County are pretty good! I still like to go to the dispensary to window shop and potentially try new products.

Many folks we're unprepared for the rapid shut in taking place across the nation. We're sliding, slipping to the edge of our seats over conversations concerning rent freeze and government bailouts to a nail-biting forefront. We haven't preceded to check the data on delivery sales during the COVID -19 lockdown, yet, as we move towards the future, we expect delivery sales and online e-store orders to increase while in store over the counter style companies fall under the weight of their customers simply not going outside.
Tackling the industry through an auxiliary lens, companies without an e-store representation will rapidly seek graphic designers, web-page coders, and e-store "Cart Page" style API system programers to design their last bridge towards their customer base. If a versatile platform style company were to pair with a well configured content producer, we could quickly manifest a list of decisions with incentives that keep the market afloat.
